Frequently
Asked Questions
-
Why
pay for a video, when my friend can follow me with his/her camera
for free?
We
offer a filming service at a very modest price for a full session
of video. Our skilled filming staff is made up of trackday control
riders and local racers that can give you feed back on your techniques
and lines. We are experienced with each race track and comfortable
passing, making it easier to get nice, up close footage. Our cameras
are high resolution and this will make all the difference in giving
you a high quality DVD. Most important of all, your buddy will not
have to burn any of their trackday sessions following others around.
- How
is video useful as a learning tool?
Verbal
input from other riders can help you to improve, but seeing it for
yourself provides a critical new dimension. You can really see what
your riding form is like, where you are braking and where you are
apexing corners for example. After viewing these details for yourself
you can really pinpoint specific areas in your riding that you can
work on and talk to an instructor or control rider about. You will
be amazed at the difference between how it feels when riding, and
how it actually looks.
- How
long will my video be?
Your
video will be of your entire designated riding session. Videos typically
range from 15-20 minutes in length.
- What
type of camera set up does TrackVideoz use?
We
use a high resolution bullet camera mounted to the front of our
motorcycles. We use MiniDV camcorders to record the footage. Using
tape and high resolution bullet cameras gives a very high quality
of video that can be enjoyed on T.V. Many digital recording devices
record at a computer or web resolution that looks great on your
computer or over the internet, but not so great on DVD.
